Fun with the Birds
On Sunday we went over to Great-Grandpa Bird's house to roast hot dogs and s'mores with Grandma & Grandpa, The Mow's and Bridget. It was hot but we had a great time.

The ?!@!? BIKE RIDE
It started out as a nice summer day, the weekend before the fourth of July, when Brandon decided to instigate some family fun...Lets go on a bike ride he said, so we packed everyone up on bikes and headed off. Our first stop (Approx 1.5 miles) was at our local Subway to grab some lunch. No stopping to eat our lunch in the air conditioned store but off to Jensens Grove to eat our picnic lunch. After our brief lunch break we were back on the trail to Rose Pond (About a 8 mile loop from Jensens Grove)...When we stop halfway on the loop the kids were dumbfounded...."We rode all the way out here to look at THIS????" Clearly they were not impressed.....The good news was we were halfway done with our journey....Wait, was that good news?????
Lindsey & Brandi get a cool drink...
Daylan, the conscientious one:)
Braxton-The only one truly enjoying the ride!
Our Commander in Chief at the lovely Rose Pond!

Trip to Manti
We were able to take the Y/W in our Ward to Utah to see the Manti Pageant. It was an incredible experience to watch the pageant with such a amazing backdrop as the Manti Temple. It really is a beautiful Temple, and so cool that you could see it from wherever you were in town because of where it set up so high on the hill. I thought it was an amazing experience and hope that the girls will always treasure the opportunity that we had to go, as I always will!! Please share in some of our fun experience by watching the slides.

Getting off the Ground
Daylan successfully completed another year of baseball and then came the end of the season festivities. The scrumptious menu included yummy burgers burnt on the outside and pink in the middle....., delicious:) with a side of wind...lol
Lindsey & Brandi enjoying the game!!
Ready for a Home Run!!!!
I can't say I'm sad to see the season end, I believe there was two or three games that we enjoyed without snow, rain, wind or our winter coats, blankets and umbrellas..... You've got to love this Idaho weather. Not to mention the fact that Daylan was terrified of getting hit by a rogue ball and so we had several meltdowns and days of dramatic illness, but all in all I think we've had a good season, and Daylan has learned many things not all of them baseball related. Oh the joys of being a parent...Looking forward to additional tennis & soccer drama to come Summer 2008!! Hold on to your Hats!
